The 78th Annual Conference of the Retired Teachers' Association Northern Ireland will take place at 11.00am on Wednesday, 14th October 2020 in the Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown, beginning with complimentary tea/coffee & scones from 10.00am.
Following a very brief AGM, our guest speaker, Baroness May Blood MBE will address us and this will be followed by a Question & Answer Session.
The President of UTU, Chair of the Northern Committee INTO, Retired Members’ Rep. NEU and NAS among others, will also be present. The Ulster Tatler magazine will be taking photographs for publication in November. A generous lunch, (subsidised) at £12.50 only, will be served at 1.00pm. The Annual Report containing details of the conference, lunch and speakers will be posted out to all members around the second week of September. We hope to continue to encourage more recently-retired teachers, our newer members particularly, to attend this popular event in our calendar.
